A short stop motion film of a pen-ink drawing I did on glass.
Literally pen ink! I broke old broken pens and blew the excess ink onto a piece of glass. Feels great getting real light-headed and then making arts.
I also used spit, see if you can find my spit blobs in the video!

I got to class 40 minutes late today… but I have a good excuse!
I was at home working on a painting titled Bathroom Wall Raven & the Broken Helicopter all morning and last night. Didn’t sleep much because I couldn’t stop thinking about finishing it
Typical Samm, all I’ve achieved since I got in the studio was causing a ruckus! I dropped a painting, knocked over a light my classmate was using and … well maybe that is all I’ve done.
At this very moment I am working on an oil painting that is screaming out ‘FOREST FIRE’
Is that a title I hear???
Here’s a tune to get into painting mode.
Not for you? That’s cool… what gets you pumped and into a creating mood??
My piece Under D0G for the art exhibition “String-Theory” in Whitehorse, Yukon.
All 15 students at SOVA were given ink, watercolor, wax, fur and string as a guideline.
This is what I came up with.
What do you think?
It was pretty hard to make it all come together, but the wolf fur scraps I bought in December ended up being the perfect thing!
I feel bad for the wolf, but at least it’s spirit and the fur itself won’t be left un-loved. :]
Keep an eye out for my next post, I’ll show you what I’ve done to Samm-ify my winter gear & maybe inspire you to jazz up those black jackets too.
